2nd Annual GLOBAL FORUM on Innovation, Creativity and Intellectual Property

26-27th February 2008

CII in collaboration with the U.S.Chamber of Commerce & U.S. India Business Council (USIBC) hosted the 2nd Annual Global Forum on Innovation, Creativity and Intellectual Property in Mumbai, India. The forum helped in fostering multilateral cooperation for promoting innovation, protecting and enforcing intellectual property and wealth creation around the world.          

The main objective of the forum was to highlight the interdependence of innovation and intellectual property protection and building an innovative society.

National Workshop on Demystifying Intellectual Property Rights:

An exclusive programme for R& D technologists and Managers was held on 14th December, 2007 at Hyderabad.


IP Skill Enhancement Program for IP Practitioners :

CII launched a series of shill enhancement programmes conducted in Bangalore: 14 & 15 Sptember, 2007 and in New Delhi: 5 & 6 October, 2007

 To leverage innovation, technology, marketing, finance, corporate governance, and industrial economics for wealth Creation. These training programmes aim to provide practical insight and techniques of patents and IP Management.

  The faculty support for these programs is provided by two budding National experts: Rachna Singh Puri & Arvind Viswanathan who are freelancing in the area of IP and have launched their own firm called Xellect IP Solutions.
