Engineers from the Americas to discuss global challenges
Atlapa Convention Center, Panama City, Panama - Monday, September 8, 2025
There are just under two weeks left before the Silver Jubilee activities of the Pan American Academy of Engineering (API) begin, for which an extensive calendar has been prepared for
conferences under the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Engineering for Socio-Economic Development and the Welfare of Humanity”.
The activities surrounding this celebration begin on Wednesday, September 17, at the Atlapa Convention Center, in Panama City, and will be held in conjunction with the XVI Congress
Civil Engineering International 2025 organized by the College of Civil Engineers of Panama (COICI) and the Panamanian Society of Engineers and Architects (SPIA).
The COICI and the SPIA have registered their conferences under the title “Technological Transformation in Civil Engineering: Building Sustainable Infrastructures”, a topic that, in addition to being highlighted by its
relevance, has tangencies of affinity with the proposal for dissertations that the API will present in its discussions.
The lineup of activities surrounding both events will run until September 20 and will bring together engineers, academics, experts in artificial intelligence and professional leaders, all
national and international engineering authorities, to address issues that address important global challenges.
The entities that organize and convene this great meeting (the API, the COICE and the SPIA) have spared no resources in coordinating a program that includes dozens of conferences and
activities of common interest, which also promote networking and knowledge exchange opportunities.
Below is the joint program that has been designed for the occasion.
