Member Obligations

Tenured Academics
- Personally attend the Solemn Incorporation Ceremony where you will receive the Diploma and Medal.
- Vote to elect new Full and Associate Members within 10 (ten) days of receiving the records sent to you by the Secretariat.
- Submit an original work prior to incorporation. The title and a summary of the work will be read at the Incorporation Ceremony. The complete work will be included on this Website.
- Participate in the activities of the Academy, either with your presence at biennial meetings or as part of Committees and Working Groups or as an exhibitor at conferences sponsored by the Academy or being part of working teleconferences coordinated by an authority of the Academy.
- Inform the Academy of any discoveries, events or research results of which it participates or is aware of.
- Integrate the Delegations, Chapters, divisions, sections and specialized institutes, commissions, committees and task forces that the Academy decides to create.
- Pay the Initial Incorporation Fee and the annual membership fees established by the Ordinary Plenary Session, in the first quarter of the year.
- Keep the curriculum vitae registered with the Academy up to date and report any change of mailing address, email and telephone number.
Associate Academics
- Inform the Academy of any discoveries, events or research results of which it participates or is aware of.
- Pay the Initial Incorporation Fee and the annual membership fees established by the Ordinary Plenary Session, in the first quarter of the year. Instructions.

Honorary Academics
- They have the same rights as Full Members except the right to vote and to serve on the Board of Directors.
- They are not required to pay Membership Fees or contributions of any kind.
Emeritus Academics
- They have all the rights of Full Members. They are not required to pay Membership Fees unless they agree to serve on the Board of Directors, the Election Committee, or the Academy's Delegations and Chapters. If they accept these responsibilities, they must also participate in their meetings.
