Study, design and construction of infrastructure works. Resident Engineer in the construction of the Iquira Hydroelectric Plant. Builder of the Thermoelectric Fertilizer Plant in Barranca Bermeja. Contract builder with INCORA, with the Popular Housing Fund Designer and Builder of urban developments. Contract builder with the Territorial Credit Institute, Construction Manager and Controller for the construction of several residential and office buildings in Bogotá. Design and auditing contracts with the Ministry of Public Works since 1954 — 2001. Advisor to the Organization of American States (OAS) for the development of Darien — Panama 1976. Secretary of Public Works of Bogotá 1955-56. Secretary of Finance of Cundinamarca 1968-69. General Manager of the Colombian National Railways 1970-74 and 1980-84. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Colombia to Austria and to United Nations Agencies: UNIDO, IAEA and the World Anti-Narcotics Convention.
