Alfredo Leiter

He is currently the Academic Secretary of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Buenos Aires. Consultant on issues of quality management, productivity, lean manufacturing and six sigma. He has managed different industrial plants or service organizations. Regular Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Buenos Aires. He is also or has been an undergraduate and postgraduate professor at Argentine and Latin American institutes and universities.

Full Member of the Board of Directors for the Faculty of Faculty of Engineering, University of Buenos Aires (2006—2010); Director of the Research Center for Productive Development, UBA (2004—current); Secretary of the Department of Industrial Management, FIUBA (2004—2006); Member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers. Director of AOTS Argentina, a subsidiary of The Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship, Japan. Founding Partner of LAJACONET — The Latin American Japan Consulting Network (1995-current).

Among other publications, he is co-author of the book “Strategic Management of Production”, 2005. Numerous contributions, notes, works in journals and book chapters.
