- Mr. Krause is a Geotechnical Engineer who was awarded his B.Sc. in Geology by Pacific Lutheran University in 1976,
- M.Sc. degree from the School of Mines of the University of Nevada.
- At the present time Alan Krause is the CEO of MWH, the giant engineering firm which employs 7500 people and has 180 offices in 38 countries.
- He has written a number of papers presented at different technical meetings around the world.
- His main responsibility is Engineering Management, trying to make a better world.
