Álvaro Alberto Aldama Rodríguez

• Civil Engineer graduated from UNAM in 1978.
• Master's degree studies in Hydraulic Engineering in 1980.
• He obtained his doctorate from MIT in 1986.
• He has combined his academic activity with periods of professional practice in State Institutions.
• Between 1988 and 1992, he was a researcher in the Water Resources group at Princeton University.
• He is a Full Member of the Academy of Engineering of Mexico, and is a former president of that Academy.
• He has published more than 200 research papers in prestigious national and foreign journals.
