Biographical Data

She has extensive academic experience as a professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Technological University of Panama, where she is an Associate Regular Professor of Soil Mechanics and Basic Engineering Sciences. Her capacity in university administration is acquired with the experience obtained in the positions of Coordinator of the Regional Center of Veraguas, General Coordinator of Regional Centers, Secretary General of the Technological University of Panama, Teaching Representative to the Board of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. In addition, she was Regional Director (Ad Hoc), in the Landslides area, of the Center for Natural Disaster Prevention in Central America (CEPREDENAC). Member of the National Commission on Alternatives to the Panama Canal on behalf of the Technological University of Panama, Director of the Center for Higher Engineering and Architecture Studies (CESIA) of the Panamanian Society of Engineers and Architects SPIA.

He has participated in the following Projects: Fortuna II Stage Hydroelectric Project, Chief Engineer of the Geotechnics and Injections Section and Head of the Soil Laboratory. Additional reinforcement of the East Wall in the Fortuna Project underground engine house. Resident Engineer. Inspection Services for the Design and Construction for the Rehabilitation and Expansion of the David - Boquete Highway, province of Chiriqui. He was Manager of the Services for the Assurance of Concrete Quality Control in the Biodiversity Museum Project, Manager of the Services of the Quality Control Project for the Rehabilitation of the Portobelo Road — El Cruce — La Guaira — Name of God — Unión Santeña, province of Colón. Project Manager and Soil Consultant in the Inspection and Supervision Project for the Rehabilitation and Expansion of the Pan-American Highway, Section: Arraiján - La Chorrera, province of Panama. Inspection and Supervision Project for the Design and Construction of the Rehabilitation and Expansion of the Pan-American Highway, 5th section: Concepción - Frontera, province of Chiriqui, Inspection and Supervision Project for the Construction and Rehabilitation of the La Palma - Setegantí Highway, province of Darién. Project, Inspection and Supervision for the Rehabilitation of the Plaza Caisán Highway - San Andrés, province of Chiriqui. Education

He is Civil Engineering with a Master's Degree in Soil Mechanics (Purdue University, West Laffayette, Indiana, USA) and Completion of the Doctoral Curriculum (Ph.D.).

Presentation and support of the dissertation in Soil Mechanics (North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina, USA).

In addition, it includes preparation taken in Panama and Yugoslavia, in Facilitator Training, Based on Technical Standards of Labor Competence; Techno-Economic Feasibility of Designing, Building and Maintaining Roads in Developing Countries.
