Bulmaro Fuentes Lemus

In his professional career, he served as director of the Technological Institute of Villahermosa (1978), director of the Technological Institute of León (1983-1987), director of the Technological Institute of Celaya (1995 - 1999), during which time he promoted the growth of the institution with the opening of Campus II.

He was also director of the Interdisciplinary Center for Teaching and Technical Research (CIIDET), among other important positions.

He was coordinator of the Decentralized Technological Institutes from 1999 to 2000 and general director of the National System of Technological Institutes from 2000 to 2007, achieving the creation of 63 new technologies in the country.

He was also the founder of the Mexican Society of Engineers in Celaya and State. He was also an alderman for the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) in Celaya.
