Biographical Data
Civil Engineer, National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), 1956. Master in Soil Mechanics, (UNAM), 1959.
He is Director of Funded Investment Projects at the Federal Electricity Commission. During his professional career, he has collaborated with various private and public institutions for the development of road, hydraulic and electrical infrastructure; and in comprehensive urban sanitation projects. In the real estate sector, he has contributed to the development of new real estate, industrial and commercial developments.
He has been a Researcher at the Engineering Institute of the UNAM; Undersecretary of the Parastatal Transformation Industry; General Director of Altos Hornos de México, S.A. de C.V and Vice President of Hydraulic Infrastructure Crushed Basaltics and Derivatives, S.A. de C.V, among other professional activities.
President of the Board of Directors of the College of Civil Engineers of Mexico (1996-1998); Member of the Mexican Association of Hydraulics; Vice President of the National Chamber of the Construction Industry (1978-1981); President of the Alumni Society of the Faculty of Engineering (SEFI) (2007-2009).
