Biographical Data
Naval Mechanical Engineer from the Chilean Naval Polytechnic Academy.
Doctorate in Engineering at the Naval Postgraduate Marine School in California, United States, 1973
Professor at the School of Engineering and at the Federico Santa María University
He worked on the Angostura and Chicoasén Dam projects and on the Cooling Systems of Thermoelectric Plants.
The Federal Electricity Commission was responsible for the design and construction of the Cerro Prieto IV, Tres Vírgenes and Los Azufres II Power Plants and Wells.
“The Pioneers of the Geothermal Resources Council” Award of the United States, 2001
National Renewable Energy Award awarded by CONAE, 2006
He is currently the Coordinator of the Policy and Coordination Subcommittee of the Energy Committee of the College of Civil Engineers of Mexico
