Guillermo Aguirre

Outstanding doctor in design engineering, graduated from the University of Cambridge, recognized as a disruptive innovator and father of scientific design. He obtained the degree of mechanical electrical engineer at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where he also studied a master's degree in mechanical engineering. He is founder and CEO of Aguirre Innovation and co-founder and CEO of Innovalia Consulting Group.

He has held relevant positions such as Deputy General Director of Technology at CONACYT and Director of Technology at Grupo Vitro/Whirlpool. He is a prolific author, with more than 140 publications and 20 books, and has been a visiting professor at internationally renowned institutions such as MIT and the IPADE Business School.

He is currently a full member and vice-president of the Mexican Academy of Engineering, national president of ADIAT and vice-president of AIUME. Its approach focuses on the formulation and application of structural principles for the design of leading products, innovation projects and technological platforms.
