Biographical Data
Also Plenary Professor at the University of Belgrano, Buenos Aires. Member of the National Academy of Education and the Buenos Aires Academy of Engineering.
Emeritus Member of the New York Academy of Sciences.
President of the Pan-American Academy of Engineering since 2000.
He received the Argentine Engineering Award 1982 and the Pan-American Engineering Award 1986. He received the 2003 FMOI Outstanding Service Medal and the “Pan-American Vector Gold Award” for Engineering Education 2006.
Member of the CET of the FMOI since 1977 and Chairman of the Committee 1989-1997. Twice national member of the ExCo of the FMOI 1985-89, 1997-2001. Vice President of UPADI 1997-2001.
Advisor (1998), Ministry of Education (Argentina) for the adoption of Engineering Accreditation Standards and Basic Curricular Contents for all Engineering Careers at National and Private Universities in the country.
Promoter, founding member and President of the Association of Graduates in Engineering and Natural Sciences UNC 2007. Member since 2004 of the Panel of Reviewers of papers to be published in EJEE.
He presented 150 papers at Conferences, Seminars and publications.
As a Professional Engineer, he was a founding member (1960) of Inconas Consulting Engineers and has participated in civil, electrical and industrial projects.
