Santiago Reyna

He is Full Full Professor of Hydraulic Works and Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences of the National University of Córdoba, Argentina where, in addition, he is Director of the 4th Level School (Postgraduate) and Director of the Master's Degrees in Engineering Sciences, mentions Water Resources and Environment. It is Category I in the national evaluation system for research teachers. He has participated as an exhibitor, or guest speaker, in countless congresses, seminars and meetings in areas of his specialty. It has generated a very important production in technical and scientific publications.

He participates as an evaluator, for undergraduate and postgraduate careers, of the National Commission for University Evaluation and Accreditation and for the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research of Argentina. He is also an evaluator in Uruguay and Chile. He has represented Argentina at the Plenary Meeting of UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) in Nairobi and at the G5 in Geneva. He currently represents Latin America and the Caribbean on the Board of the Global Climate Change Adaptation Fund (Kyoto Protocol).

In private practice, he is President of CEAS SA, a consulting firm in hydraulic and sanitary engineering studies and projects, Managing Partner of Environments and Systems SRL, consultant in the environmental area and CEO of GCIS CC, a cooperative consortium of engineering consultancies.

In the public service, he is an advisor to the Under-Secretariat of Water Resources of the Nation and to the Secretariat of Environment of the Nation, Republic of Argentina. He has been Director of Control of Energy, Transportation, Water and Sanitation Concessions and Advisory Advisor to the Board of Directors of the Provincial Directorate of Water and Sanitation, Province of Córdoba, Argentina.
