Biographical Data
- Thomas Loughlin is a Mechanical Engineer by training, having received his BSME from Lafayette College in 1983.
- These first ten years of professional practice were in several industries devoted to security locks and devices.
- In 1993 he joined ASME as Director Member Services, and rose through the ranks of ASME, until he became Deputy Executive Director in 2005, later appointed as Executive Director of ASME, a position where he oversees the wide-ranging educational and technical programs of ASME, with over 120,000 members, in 120 countries, and offices in China, Europe and India.
- As Executive Director of ASME Thomas Loughlin has given support to UPADI and WFEO.
