Civil Engineer 1948, Master of Science 1949
President emeritus of Montgomery Watson Harza, an environmental engineering firm in Pasadena, specializing in water and wastewater engineering.
He prepared more than 50 master plans for water and sewer systems.
He participated in projects in 15 foreign countries. Serve as a meteorologist for the U.S. Army Air Forces. Department of State in World War II.
Designer of the San Diego Metropolitan Sewer Project in addition to important developments in the Philippines, Indonesia and China.
He received numerous honors and awards. Member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering
He served as president of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the American Academy of Environmental Engineers.
In 1975, he was president of the Caltech Alumni Association. PAE Honorary Academician on October 4, 2012.
