Graduated from the National University of Córdoba in 1955, where he graduated as a Civil Engineer, Yadarola was widely decorated for his contributions to professional practice, as well as for his valuable contributions to teaching and educational research.
Over a career spanning more than six decades, he distinguished himself by an unwavering commitment to academic excellence, technical rigor and the training of new generations of engineers.
He worked as a professor in the disciplines of physics, architecture and engineering at several Argentine universities and was a plenary professor at the University of Belgrano, in Buenos Aires.
His educational vocation was also reflected in his participation, in 1997, as a member of the Ministerial Advisory Committee of the Argentine Ministry of Education, responsible for drafting Engineering Accreditation Standards and Basic Curricular Contents for all engineering careers in public and private universities in the country.
He was a member of prominent scientific and professional organizations, such as the Argentine National Academy of Education and the New York Academy of Sciences. He represented Argentina in the Pan-American Union of Engineering Associations (UPADI) and the World Federation of Engineering Organizations and actively participated in the Engineering Academy of Buenos Aires, the Coordinating Board of Professional Councils of Engineering, Architecture and Surveying of Argentina and the Argentine Union of Engineering Associations, among many others.
In addition to teaching, in the professional field, Yadarola developed an extensive and solid career in civil, electrical and industrial projects, most of them carried out together with the Argentinian firm Inconas Consulting Engineers, of which he was a founding member since 1960.
Professor Yadarola's professional practice was marked by technical seriousness, an integral vision of engineering and a deep ethical sense.
The Pan-American Academy of Engineering honors his memory and recognizes Miguel Ángel Yadarola as an essential reference, whose intellectual, institutional and human legacy will continue to inspire engineers in Argentina, in the hemisphere and around the world.
